James B. Jones, 34, who returns from season 1 of the three-time Emmy award-winning docu-reality series, has been dating since he’s become a “pseudo celebrity.”
“A lot of people have been recognizing me now,” he said, according to Tudum. “That’s been pretty cool.”
In an Instagram video posted Sunday, Jan. 21, Jones gave fans a life update, saying that while things didn’t work out with a woman named Maggie, they remain close friends.
He also mentioned dating a single mom since the end of the first season of “Love on the Spectrum.”
The two met on Instagram and dated from April to October 2023, Jones told Parade in an interview.
“But ultimately, I actually was the one who said I felt like I could not do it,” he said. “So, I am, again, single and available. I am again looking for love.”
When asked by a fan if he’d return for a third season of “Love on the Spectrum,” Jones said he’s not sure if he’d come back because it might look like he “was seeking attention.”
Fans assured Jones that the show wouldn’t be the same without him.
The first and second seasons of “Love on the Spectrum” are available to stream now on Netflix.
